The National Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evang Chinedu Obigwe, on Wednesday took a swipe on a group named 'Concerned members of All Progressives Grand Alliance' in Anambra state over an alleged statement they made against Governor Willie Obiano, in a daily newspaper, noting that they should seek for forgiveness and refrain from blackmailing the governor.
Obiano
"Go and seek forgiveness and cleansing from God for your failed sabotage mission and refrain from blackmailing Governor Obiano, because your planned blackmail will not yield your expected result of teleguiding the Governor and denting his spotless image", he said.
In a statement he issued to newsmen, Obigwe said as follows:
"You are scheming to reap where you did not sow. I am reacting in respect to your published news report in Daily Sun newspaper of January 2, 2018, page 12, that was signed by Ambrose Uka Okpata your leader, alleging that Governor Obiano has embarked on mass revocation of landed property, parks under the control of the members, suspension of some elected market leaders, Local government party Chairmen and Ward Chairmen whom he perceived to have worked for Nwoye.
"Your allegations are baseless and can be described as concocted tissue of lies aimed at portraying Governor Obiano in bad light.
"Governor Obiano  as a man blessed with a heart that is overflowing with milk of kindness does not indulge in vindictive actions.
"You so called 'Concerned APGA Members in Anambra State' has shown through your press release that you are saboteurs that failed in your evil mission of using sabotage to truncate Governor Obiano's merited second term re-election bid.
"Having failed in your evil plots, you now resorted into the execution of dirty political hatchet job of soiling Governor Obiano's hard earned and stainless reputation with your fabricated moonlight tale.
"Governor Obiano is a stickler of what is right who is determined not to leave any stone unturned in ensuring that the right thing is done in Anambra State for the betterment of the people of the State that demonstrated their genuine love for him by voting massively for him in the last November 18th governorship election.
"I therefore advice you 'Concerned APGA Members in Anambra State' to go and seek forgiveness and cleansing from God for your failed sabotage mission and refrain from blackmailing Governor Obiano because your blackmail will not yield your expected result of teleguiding the Governor and denting his spotless image.
"Governor Willie Obiano's priority for now is to use his second term mandate to consolidate on his achievements in the State and perhaps does not have time for mundane issues that will not be beneficial to the people of the State", he finally said.
