Pro-Biafra groups to adopt New Strategies-MASSOB

Awka —THE Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, said yesterday that it would collaborate with other Biafra agitators to adopt new strategies in a renewed vigour for the actualization of Biafra Republic.
MASSOB leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu said in a statement that the new strategies and consolidation would be anchored on the principle of non violence which, according to him, would soon be unveiled.
Members of the Movement for the Survival of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) during their rally to mark the 17th anniversary of the movement, yesterday, in Awka, Anambra State.
He said: "The coming together of pro- Biafra groups will multiply our synergies and double our consistent efforts towards Biafra actualization and restoration through our undying demand and pressure for a referendum that will determine our stake in Biafra project.
"We wish to remind the citizens and inhabitants of this geographical expression called Nigeria by the British colonial lords that God did not create us as Nigerians or that our ancestors chose the name called Nigeria. We inherited and anchored our names through our native, cultural and traditional inclinations. It is only dogs and other domestic pets that retain and maintain names given to them by their lords and owners.
"Some other nations of Africa who pride their native, cultural and traditional values as a mark of respect to their forefathers, rejected the change of their country's name which the British colonial masters gave them and which political gladiators in Nigeria want to sustain and preserve.
"We are naturally and ancestrally called Biafra, Oduduwa and Arewa, but British colonial masters named the people Nigeria 57 years ago and these people prefer to kill themselves just to preserve it, than reject it. It is only an animal that bears the name that is given to it by another person."
"The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra wishes to inform the political gladiators of Nigerian state that their 2019 political ambitions will no longer materialize because Nigeria as an entity will not exist beyond the year 2019.Before the end of the year 2019, there will be no more Nigeria as a political entity, there will be newborn nations called Biafra, Oduduwa and Arewa republics. "MASSOB also wishes to inform the voluntary and forced citizens of this entity that Muhammadu Buhari is the last president of this geographical expression called Nigeria.
"As every nation of the universe has its spiritual anchor and stronghold, MASSOB gladly wishes to inform the people of Biafra that the spiritual anchor and stronghold of Nigeria entity has been broken and no military might or alliances with Islamic international community will stop the emergence of Biafra soon."
